Cold Galvanizing Compound
LMS-100 Cold Galvanizing Compound is used as primer or as a protective final coating wherever iron or steel will be exposed to atmospheric or corrosive conditions. After fabrication or construction, it forms an all purpose protective coating. After wear, accidents, welding, or maintenance work it provides a "like-new" touch-up coating.
LMS-100 Cold Galvanizing Compound unlike hot dip galvanizing, will readily take a top coating. It is an excellent primer for painting providing three benefits: (1) Bonds to the metal, (2) Provides corrosion protection, (3) Provides rough surface for better top coat adhesion.
In production it provides a quick, low cost way to cold galvanize parts of finished products. In maintenance or construction, it eliminates costly down time and provides protection for equipment and machinery.
