PTFE Thread Seal Tape
LMS-100 PTFE Thread Sealant Tape is high quality, heavy duty, non-hardening, moldable, and dry. It seals metal or plastic threads - pipes or bolts - it is chemically inert and applicable to most types of threaded metal and plastic pipes or bolts.
LMS-100 PTFE Pipe Tape seals against thread leakage of most liquids and gases. It is non-reactive with steam, water, salt water, air, fuels, refrigerants, acids, alkalies, all solvents, gases including hydrogen, ammonia, propane, butane, nitrogen. NOT for use on liquid or gaseous oxygen. For nitric or mixed acid services, consult factory. It will withstand hydraulic pressures up to 100,000 PSI.
LMS-100 PTFE Pipe Tape stays pliable - won't seize - opens easily. It places a non-hardening, slippery layer of teflon between the mated threads. The tape remains flexible to resist vibration and permit easy disassembly of connections when required. Connections that might otherwise be destroyed are saved for reuse. The tape's flexibility minimizes slippage during application and thread connection. As the material is soft and pliable, deep thread penetration is obtained.
